ADS Wines makes Pink Umbrella, as well as Giani. Their heritage dates
to the 1800s and 5 generations ago in Italy. After immigrating to NY in
1903, a wine shop at the end of Prohibition, a distributorship not long
after that and a wine-making business in CA, have given the Scotto
family knowledge of the industry that far-surpasses most. Their first
wines were made by Ceasar Mondavi and they continue the long
partnerships in Lodi for their wines.

III is now in charge : “I grew up in the wine business, but after
college, I was ready for a new challenge, so I started working at one of
California’s leading beer wholesalers. Learning about distributors,
retailers and on premise was a terrific experience, but I realized that
wine was still my first love. I started ADS Wines in 2004 with a goal of
bringing quality products to the market that fit our customer’s needs.
Hopefully, the company and our Lodi wineries will be passed along to
future generations, so one day our motto will be, “ADS Wines, Six
Generations of Good Taste”.
